Naval Health Clinic New England (NHCNE) Newport is located at the south end of the Navy complex at 43 Smith Road. It provides the full range of inpatient and outpatient services for our beneficiaries. Outpatients are managed in the Comprehensive Health Care Clinic (Bldg. 23). Inpatients are managed through an External Resource Sharing Agreement with Newport Hospital. Navy physicians provide their inpatient admissions and ambulatory surgery at Newport Hospital (the local civilian hospital).
